UCL reloading complex cargo traffic rises 23% to 5.5 mln tns 2017

MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- Cargo traffic of Russia’s Multipurpose Reloading Complex, an affiliate of tycoon Vladimir Lisin’s UCL Holding, rose 23% on the year to 5.5 million tonnes in 2017, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Transshipment of energy coal grew 24% to 5.3 million tonnes. Petrol coke dispatches started in 2017 with 258,000 tonnes.

Average daily handling of wagons at the terminal grew 23% on the year to 210 units in the period.

Multipurpose Reloading Complex is a cargo terminal at the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region. Power generating coal accounts for the bulk of the company’s traffic.
